Lyons Township Soccer Club

From July 5th-9th, 21 LTSC members participated in a summer camp in conjuction with Oxford United Soccer Club and learnt from Craig McKay, the coach of United under 15's. Craig said, "It's a great experience to come and work with players in the Lyons Township area. There were a lot of good players on the camp who really impressed me"

Owen McGovern, Oxford United's Football in the Community Director said "we were really excited and pleased to put this camp on and hope to keep a long standing relationship with Lyons Township Soccer Club for future projects"

Rob Mitchell, Executive Director of the Girls Program at LTSC said, "It's brilliant for LTSC players to be able to get access to high level coaching from a Professional organization based in England right on their doorstep. This camp was great and we will definitely be looking to do it again next year." Mitchell continued, "Being an Oxford United fan and having attended Oxford United summer camps as a boy this was a personal bonus to me."
