Mission Statement

The Academy Program is the introductory level in the LTSC structure where a large focus of the program is on the players having FUN.

The LTSC Academy caters to young recreational soccer players pre-K through 4th grade.

Our program allows young players to learn and enjoy soccer in a positive and fun environment, in their own community with children they know. We provide a healthy activity through teaching the right technical soccer skills and we make sure the games that the players play are relevant to their skill levels. To maximise development we play fun games so that the players are learning the basic fundamental skills in an environment that is exciting and engaging. The club is fully committed to the Academy and recognizes the importance of developing youth players.

The Winter program is a 9 week program ending with our annual Fun Fest tournament. This is where the players are put into teams and they play at least 3 games. Friends and other family members are encouraged to come out and see what they have been doing in the program. As well as the fun tournament there will be representatives from the Chicago Fire passing out information and giving out prizes.

Academy players of all ages have an opportunity to experience a professionally developed comprehensive curriculum delivered by professional coaches.  The Academy program is designed to further players' soccer development and prepare them for Academy elite or towards the competitive program.

Your son or daughter has placed on a team - see lists below right, based on age.  All  documents are password encrypted so that only participants in the program can read them. You will have received an e-mail with the password from Gavin McCrindle.  Please contact Gavin directly with any questions.
